We Are HDC

Full Service Creative Fabrication

Here at Harrison Designs and Concepts,
we strive to make fantasy a reality.

The details needed to take that childhood dream and bring it in to our world are what is truly loved with our craft. Be it for a commission for a fellow fanboy or a movie production, some extravagant piece of armor or a small locket from a favorite game, the same amount of research, dedication, sweat, love, and frustration to make it as real as possible go in to every piece of work created. Thank you for joining us in this journey.

Tim Harrison, award winning, master level costumer and fabricator, first dove in to props and costuming in August 2012. Always being a tinkerer, that quickly reignited the flame for creating and bringing fantasy to life. After a few years in the steampunk scene, he to branched out in 2016 and entered the Crown Championships at C2e2 and placed. Practical effects, sculpting, casting, foamsmithing, leatherworking, sewing and metal-work are just some of the skills brought to the table. In 2017, Harrison Designs and Concepts, or HDC, was founded and he hopes to further expand his convention and workshop presence in 2018.

Testimonials

“Amazing job with my Return of the Jedi Belt for Luke Skywalker. The leather work is amazing. The belt feels comfy and the belt is very screen accurate. 10/10 would definitely buy again!"

Nicholas — Return of the Jedi Belt

“Tim is not only an endlessly creative dude, always thinking of new ways to adjust or add to a project, but the end result is never anything short of amazing. He modified my Darth Vader suit for me to be more ANH accurate and it's brilliant. Plus it helps the process given that he's just a chill, cool guy. ALWAYS recommend.”

Jason— Vader Suit Mod

“I purchased a Wonder Woman whip that glows and everything from HDC, and it is amazing! This was a prototype project, and he kept me updated as he was working on it, with progress pictures and everything! He included batteries and a charger for the batteries which was super nice so I didn’t have to go find/buy my own. I’ve seen a lot of his other work up close and it is amazing the level of detail he puts into things!Definitely recommend!!”

Linda— Wonder Woman Whip

“I've had the pleasure of working with Tim, and it was a wonderful experience. The dedication to not only the craft, but making sure it's what the customer wants, was outstanding! He's always ready to make changes, adjust this or that to your liking. Very responsive and easy to get a hold of. The work he did on my costume got me recognized by Image Comics, and I was glad I could show off his beautiful work. 20/10!
In short, Tim is an extremely talented, hard working, fun loving guy. If you can work with him- do it!"
